Speed ramps installed

Speed ramps were installed on the main spine road yesterday. The positioning of the ramps was calculated by the installation engineers to be the most effective at slowing traffic on the road. Please let us have your feedback on the ramps and their effectiveness.

  1. It is great to finally have the ramps in place. Hopefully this will make it a little safer for children in the estate. Priory drive needs ramps as well to slow the traffic down the hill and around the corner onto the spine road.

  2. I agree - great to see the ramps in as residents are stilling driving way too fast in the estate. In particular the ancillary roads where I believe the ramps will be more beneficial. Living on Churchview, I really can't understand the need to accelerate over a 100m as there is no gain apart from increase in the risk of danger. It’s a family estate and wish all would take heed on the speed.

  3. I am also on Church View and cars really speed around the green whilst kids are playing, I would love to see ramps added here asap before there's an accident
